USA 1822 Birth of the Digital Age

Boston & Edgar Poe January 1809-1849 was adn American writer. He liked the mostly poetry as well as short stories. As pioneer of Gothic fiction which starts a significant contribution to science fiction , Edgar became after the University in Virginia a well known publisher of his first collection, Tamerlane & Other Poems. He was also known as literary criticism & moved after that to Baltimore, Philadelphia, & New York City. 

He was 27 years old when he married his cousin, then he published another instant success as a poem "The Raven". He never succeeded to publish his own journal which he named, "The Penn" which he renamed it to "The Stylus" . Poe died in Baltimore in 1849, at age 40 years, under mysterious circumstances, the cause of his death remains unknown and has been attributed to many causes, including disease, alcoholism and substantially-suicidal. His life influenced the development of literature throughout the world & even impacted fields cosmology & cryptography. After his death he also became known for fields of art, photography, music, motion - pictures, & television. Several of his homes are dedicated to Museums of Art. He was buried in Westminster Presbyterian Church, Baltimore - Maryland USA.
