Boston & Edgar Poe January 1809 - 1849 was adn American writer. He liked the mostly poetry as well as short stories. As pioneer of Gothic fiction which starts a significant contribution to science fiction , Edgar became after the University in Virginia a well known publisher of his first collection, Tamerlane & Other Poems. He was also known as literary criticism & moved after that to Baltimore , Philadelphia , & New York City . He was 27 years old when he married his cousin, then he published another instant success as a poem "The Raven". He never succeeded to publish his own journal which he named, " The Penn " which he renamed it to " The Stylus " . Poe died in Baltimore in 1849, at age 40 years, under mysterious circumstances, the cause of his death remains unknown and has been attributed to many causes, including disease , alcoholism and substantially-suicidal .
